[A ringing that builds]

[Whooshing]

[Noise cuts out]

[Explosion]

[Whistling and zooming of all matter]

[Collisions and formation of smaller bits into larger bits]

[The sound of great rock cooling and crackling together]

[Thunderclaps, downpour]

[A splash into water]

[The dulling of all sound as we go underwater]

[Splashing and bellowing of great sea creatures]

[Bubbling]

[Something splashes to shore and skitters upon it]

[Great, heavy footsteps and the breath of a dinosaur]

[A mega impact and explosion, life wiped out]

[The sound of whistling wind and the bellow of a mammoth]

[Rain falls, Melting water, streams]

[Something swings on a vine, then walks on two feet]

[It strikes flint and creates fire]

[The roar of the fire fades to reveal the sound of laughter around it]

[A wolf whines; meat is thrown to him]

[The sound of labor in a field, crops being pulled, tools hammering]

[The sound of stones being stacked]

[The sound of an audience cheering, which turns to battle cries]

[Weapons against shields and armor]

[A large ship hitting the open seas]

[Felling of trees]

[Railroads, automobiles]

[Radio chatter]

One 

Come on.

[She grabs her friend’s hand and they run, panting]

[The noise of ocean waves rolling on a shore grows]

[They stop, sit, and catch their breath]

One 

Can you believe we came from… here?

Two

I hope we treat our next home better than our first one.

One 

You think there’s a next one?

Two

Not like this one, though.

One 

No, not like this.

[The sound of waves fades out]
